Changing to Chrome or Firefox browser

Windows 10 is supplied by Microsoft with Edge, the successor to its Internet Explorer browser (although IE is still present, Microsoft has recently announced that its days are numbered). However, for many individuals, no matter what Microsoft wants, using Chrome or Firefox is the norm.

To install Chrome or Firefox and return to normal, open Edge, search for either and find a version of Windows 10. Download it, install it, and make sure that the default browser option is set to keep Edge from reappearing.

To do this, go to Settings, type “default app” on the search bar, and click Reset Default Apps. You can select your preferred default browser by clicking on the Web browser.

It's worth noting that some major changes to Edge will soon be made by Microsoft so that it will be based on the same code as Chrome. This means that when using Windows 10, Chrome fans may not feel the need to move from the Edge in the coming years.
