Compared to other mice, the scroll wheel had a low profile and relatively substantial tactile bumps. The screen response was excellent, and scrolling resistance wasn't too heavy or light. While they convey a rumbling sensation when rolling the scroll wheel, those tactile bumps might annoy some.
It's about average in terms of scrolling and scroll-wheel depress sounds on this mouse, not loud enough to annoy anyone at a nearby desk, but there have been quieter ones in this category.
